Beverly Hills, CA (PRWEB) August 15, 2011
A woman whose quality of life was crushed by disability, pain and depression after a violent collision with a two-ton truck in Imperial County has recovered a $950,000 settlement, says Los Angeles truck accident attorney Kevin Danesh.
“Our client was a healthy, active, independent and optimistic 78-year-old woman before this tragic crash. Now she is unable to take pleasure in her favorite activities or even take care of herself due to the injuries she suffered in the wreck,” Danesh says.
“While no amount of money can give her back the life she used to enjoy, this settlement will go a long way toward paying her medical bills and making sure she gets the treatment she needs to make the most of her remaining years,” says Danesh, who represented the plaintiff along with Sean Banafsheh of the Los Angeles vehicle accident law firm of Banafsheh, Danesh & Javid, P.C.
The truck accident happened on May 11, 2010, while the plaintiff was moving from Yuma, Arizona, to live near her daughter in Pasadena. While passing through the city of Brawley, the plaintiff’s Chevrolet Cobalt collided with a Coachella Valley Water District maintenance truck operated by an employee, the complaint alleged.
