Hull mum battling cancer refused insurance for dream trip
"They rang up and said there had been a computer error, even though I spoke to someone after completing an online form," she said.
"I had to tell my little girls they weren't going to Disney World and it caused a lot of tears and upset for everyone.
"I have been battling cancer since May 2009 and after chemotherapy, doctors found another lump and the cancer spread.
"When doctors talked about life expectancy, they told me I'd have either months or a few short years left."
Although All Clear Options have offered to pay for part of the trip, Mrs Ager wants to leave it until the last minute to try to find another insurance company or business.
"I will probably not need to go into hospital at all and will be taking all my drugs with me but we need that protection," she said.
"My children understand and know that eventually I won't be here and I just wanted those two weeks not worrying about blood tests or hospital appointments and to create memories."
