ICT AUTOMATISERING : PROFITABILITY STABILIZES IN FIRST HALF DESPITE LOWER ... 4-traders (press release)
Carlo DAgnolo, CEO of ICT Automatisering N.V.: The departure of a large number of employees in Germany, especially in the second half of 2010, has a serious impact on ICTs turnover and profitability. We have taken some radical measures to stabilise this situation. In the first half of 2011, the number of FTEs and turnover remained stable compared to the level at the end of 2010. Although there are first signs of improvement, it will take some time to recuperate. The situation will continue to have our undivided attention. As a result of an increase in the number of projects and an improved capacity utilisation, the results of the Dutch activities have been improved. The increase in tariffs was not as high as expected. At this time, we see sufficient opportunities to expand our business. These plans are supported by our strategy. However, the economic developments of the past few months and the present instable financial markets create a lot of uncertainty.
