Irish most meticulous tourists LV.com
Irish people are more likely to compile a must-do travel activity list while on holiday than those from any other nation, a survey has revealed.
According to the lastminute.com research, 93% of people from the Emerald Isle write a list of things they want to do while on holiday, with a similar amount of Germans doing the same.
Meanwhile, only 76% of Britons admit to doing the same thing while on holiday.
Ironically, the poll also revealed that although they are meticulous planners when it comes to sightseeing, Irish people have a habit of leaving it to the last minute to book their holidays.
Hopefully, they spend a bit more time researching which travel insurance policy to buy to ensure they do not incur any extra costs if something unexpected happens while they are abroad.
Visiting the seven wonders of the world was the most popular activity to do while on holiday, followed closely by going on safari and staying in a luxury hotel.
Other popular activities included swimming with dolphins, learning a foreign language and going to a place not normally considered a tourist hotspot.
